How to animate a jump in 3D animation
To animate a jump, first create keyframes for the crouch, the upward motion, the peak of the jump, and the landing. Ensure that the character has enough time at the peak for a realistic effect. Add secondary motions like hair and clothing moving in response to gravity. Use ease-in and ease-out techniques to create a smoother rise and fall during the jump. Make sure the character’s weight feels grounded during the landing to show impact.
